The Holy Paladin in post Cataclysm 4.0.3 will probably be the most popular PvP Tree used. This PvP Build guide will take you from 1-85 using mainly the Holy spec talent tree. This Paladin guide will also include some suggested glyphs you can use with this build.
Remember, that everyone has their own play style. Glyphs and extra points past the 31 that get your max spell in Holy can be tweaked to fit your playstyle.
This is the best 1 through 85 pvp leveling guide to go along with the best leveling route guide: Zygor’s Leveling Guide.
Cataclysm Holy Paladin PvP Build Guide 4.0.3 Notes
Holy Shock in Cataclysm is the spell you are going to want to use over other spells in PvP . The long cast times of Holy Light and Divine Light make them a little slow for most PvP situations, however, with haste effects from Shock, you can heal up a 50% target pretty quickly.
This build is designed to let you take damage and get a mana free 3 charge Word of Glory spell.
Blessed life will allow you to take hits from multiple enemies which will allow you to get your 3 charge WOG spell up.

Do You Want To Level Faster Like The Pros?
If you are having trouble leveling or need to level faster in WoW Cataclysm I highly suggest you check out Zygor’s Leveling Guide. It has the perfect leveling path that gets you to 85 faster and easier than any other way. No matter what level you are, you load the guide and it points with an arrow to the direction of each monster, quest giver, trainer etc. Its pretty crazy. It also has an in game box that tells you exactly what to do, like kill 5 boars, run west 10 miles, etc. If you dont have this in game add on guide, honestly, you are missing out. You can find out more here or check out the Zygor Cataclysm Leveling Guide Review.

Where are you seeing shield of the righteous for a holy pally?
yes there is no shield of righteous for holy spec?
And there is no rebuke for holy paladin
I think you’re a little confused.
I think this guy is on crack.
This build has been updated, and the mistakes have been corrected. Leave any helpful suggestions as a reply!
As of patch 4.0.6, every paladin will have Rebuke
Light of Dawn for Holy PvP?
First, it’s worthless in 2′s.
Second, therea re better heals to be used in 3′s.
Third, it’s only ever useful if your team is grouped, which is not to often in 5′s.
Kinda makes your whole spec suspect.
you have to get Light of Dawn to enter other tree’s tard
you have to get Light of Dawn to enter other tree’s tard
- No you must not, Tard
On a less aggressive note:
(note: I used to do a lot of holy pvp while leveling 1-60, but I haven’t done so for quite some time. I’m researching now to start holy PvPing again at 85).
What ARE your thoughts on the use of Light of Dawn in PvP? Also, as I look at what you wrote, as opposed to the build that is now linked, I have some questions.
1) What are your thoughts on Clarity of Purpose? Even with that talent at 3/3, those spells are painfully slow in PvP. You could pull 2 points out of there, and move them somewhere else. But where to put them?
a) You could then get back Improved Judgements, to extend your judgement range, which appears to have been in your original build. a 30 yard range is much easier to use, and it seems that judgements are pretty valuable, between Judgements of the Pure and Enlightened Judgements. Thoughts?
Yeah this build is definately not optimum, because Light of Dawn is all but pointless in anything other than a raid.

Thats the build I PVP with. In twos i might go deeper into prot than ret for shorter cooldown on hammer, but with rebuke now baseline, having the 15% move buff is excellent.
Denounce and blazing light I dont bother with, I almost exclusively use shock to heal, and if you have time to spam exorcisms (which hit for low damage) you have probably won anyway.
Conviction is very good, now that they fixed it.
Having an extra 20 yards on judgements is a godsend when you are tryin to pillar hump/stop a healer from drinking.

You only need one point in blessed life, cause of the 8 sec internal cooldown, 2 points is a waste.
You only need 1 point in enlightened judgments, since having the baseline spi from PVP gear will give u more than 4% hit with a single point in this talent, and 4% is all u need to avoid misses on player characters.
This is for Dwayne Schick. hey bro i copied ur link for PvP healidins, and i must say im pretty inpressed w it. i was wonderin if u could tell me ur rotation (healing and n e defensive abilities)
Hi andrew
Since cata launched, and i moved to london, im on a bad timezone for raiding with my guildmates and dont get to PVE as much as I would like.
So as a result I cant give ya any great advice about PVE healing rotations.
In PVP (which is most of what I do now) healing is mostly reactive; spamming holy light to keep people topped up, switchin to divine light if holy light isnt cutting the mustard, flash of light for quick emergency heals if they have done a switch and you need to heal someone up fast. Its all about choosing the right heal for the situation, thinkin on your feet, and POSITIONING
But the one thing i would suggest that applies to PVE too, is using holy shock as often as it is available. Its heal/mana efficiency is excellent, it generates holy power, and when it crits you will proc Infusion of light.
wich is the correct build the one in the link or the one you wrote down here on the site?
an what kind of armor will you go for, the damaging or the mana regain?
@Micheal
The easiest thing to do if you want somewhere to begin with spec/setup is to look at what skilled players are doing on their armory, and use that as a starting point for making your own spec.
I say starting point, because often you may want to change a few things to suit your playstyle, or to make the game more enjoyable for you.
Luminant is a good Ret player.
http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/magtheridon/luminant/simple
Arann is a good Holy player
http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/shadow-council/arrann/advanced
Holy is usually what i play on my pally. You will notice Aranns build is almost identical to mine, but he/she has swapped Pursuit of Justice in favour of Guardians Favour. Both are good talents, but choose what you like for your playstyle
Do answer your questions directly :
The correct build for PVP is a variant of Aranns, which the one I linked also is.
When it comes to armor stack Int, and pick up offset pieces that has +spirit, but dont gem for it. I gem Int > Crit (for holy shock Infusion of light) > Haste, Spirit.

If holy shock is the main heal, then wouldnt you want Crusade? (Ret). 30% increased healing is very useful.
